Gone too soon My beloved Pst Toyin Adenuga, but we cannot question God. A true servant of God. A man of integrity, discipline and focus. So humble, so simple but full of wisdom and operated by excellence. Always calm and ready to lend a helping hand. You didn't need to be asked to do something, you just did. I learnt a lot from you. A model of servant leadership who never focused on trivialities. Always the voice of reason and an advocate of peace. Thank you for giving to the Lord. Thank you for being a wonderful husband to my dearest big SisNike. Thank you for being an amazing Dad to your 4 children and a huge support to your family and the family of God. No words to express our shock and sorrow to hear the news of your passing on to glory. Adieu. Till we meet again to part no more, rest on my big brother and pastor. I know your reward is great

ADENIYI ASUNBO

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord. And you may find eternal rest.

Oladotun Isiaka

Bros, hearing the news was truly heartbreaking, for you had become a very close ‘elder brother’. We met in the golf course and struck a good relationship, not knowing that our history was much closer that we thought. Later found out you were my senior at Mayflower, you also attended University of Ife, and were married to my classmate! What a small world. Bros, you will be missed. Pray that God give Nike and you entire family the fortitude to bear the loss, Aamin.

Engr OLUWATOYIN IDOWU ADENUGA the news of your demise is a very shocking and sad one to say the least. Indeed, the Lord giveth and the Lord has taken him away. Yours is like a bright star fading away into the morning light. Toyin was a gentle, peaceful and extraordinary person. His absence will be felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We pray that his memories bring some solace in the midst of our pains. May the Peace and Love of God almighty continue to surround his wife, children and the entire family. May God provide them with the strength and courage to face the days ahead. May you all find moments of peace, healing and tranquillity amidst the storm of grief of this moment. May Toyin’s Soul Rest in Perfect Peace Amen From Wole and Funmi Kusimo

Toyin was my boss and later became a friend and colleague. I took over his role as Commercial Operations Manager in SPDC upon his appointment as Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas. Toyin was a great mentor and inspiration to the younger ones. In Toyin's characteristic manner at work, he gave his subordinates opportunity and freedom to discover and excel in their own rights. As Toyin will put it, go ahead and leave the failure for me and take the glory, because, I will fly on your wings. I have been devastated, once again humbled by death of a loved one and constantly reminded about the frailty of life. When Toyin and I chatted barely two months ago over the Easter holiday, I did not know that was the last! I pray Toyin's soul to find rest in the bossom of the Lord that he diligently served, and grace to Nike and the children to have the fortitude to bear this great loss. Adieu T!

Toyin was my classmate in Mayflower School Ikenne. He was a very gentle and reserved person. Humble and friendly. A very active member of our class group ExMay 75/80 set. I recall when I hosted the group, Toyin came straight from the airport to attend the meeting, a very humble approach. His demise has left a big vacuum in the group. We miss you Toyin. Good night and have a peaceful rest.

Hmmmm this is difficult for me to do but I guess I have no choice. Adenike it was really shocking to hear this news. I am still trying to get myself together and then this. O ye Olorun. Pastor Toyin Adenuga lives on but just permanently relocated to his Final home, which awaits everyone with this blessed assurance of Hope bestowed upon our Lord Jesus. You decided on taking an early flight, which is an Executive and exclusive one. The thought just came to me now that the Raptural flight will be the final but crowded one which you will still take before those that remain here on Earth at the sound of the Trump. I describe you as a complete gentleman, a devout believer in Christ, an awesome husband and Dad to your family, a good partner and co-laborer in our father’s vineyard, a faithful friend, a disciplined Counselor and Pastor. You worked hard and played hard at golf. It’s true that no one is indispensable but some people are irreplaceable; you belong to the latter and will be forever missed. Good night bro!

Dear Pastor Adenuga. I am short of words. The memory of the just is blessed. You were indeed a general in the army of the Lord. You were steadfast, unmoveable and always abounded in the work of the Lord. You lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. You always encouraged me with a smile. Generous and humble is your second nature. Keep on resting in the bosom of our Lord. We loved you but God loves you more. We will meet again on the Resurrection morning to part no more in Jesus name. God will comfort and empower your beloved family to forge ahead in Him.You live on!!! Adieu Pastor Adenuga.🙏🏾🤗🤗

Dear Rev Toyin Adenuga, that's all I've been able to say everytime I try to write this tribute. I can't believe it still. I haven't been able to accept the reality that our dearest Pastor Toyin, is no longer here. I know you're watching over Pastor Nike, Moyo, Morayo, Morola, Mosope, your entire family and your church family. So quiet, observant, disciplined, firm, yet humble, simple and friendly. You observed everything and everyone. You always had a word in season. I'll never forget a worker's meeting where you shared Isaiah 43:2 - When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. The word came alive and comforted me in that very trying period of my life. Now, I am reminded of it as we are faced with this very painful reality. My heart breaks, especially for your family. It really hurts, but we are comforted in the knowledge that you are in the best place and God is with us as we process this state of brokenness, hurt, frustration, anger and pain. My sisters and I keep asking petulantly, Why you? With all the evil and wicked people in this world, why Pastor Adenuga? But, we submit to God's will knowing that He knows best. So today, I speak and declare Isiah 43:2, over your immediate family and all your loved ones in pain. All will be well in Jesus name, Amen. I love you so much Pastor Toyin, I'll see you again sir, and there, the angels will decide who won our little game of "First to get to church". See you then sir.

ASK Makinde

It is indeed a painful exit, Toyin you are a Gentleman personified. Quiet and unassuming. You will sorely be missed. May God comfort the families left behind. Adieu brother!!!
