I remember Toyin as a loving husband and father as well as a friend and close colleague. He took over from me as Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd and continued with the growth agenda of the company, eventually leaving to pursue a career outside Shell. He listened to and cared for people and made a difference in the life of so many. May God grant Nike and the children the fortitude to bear this great loss.

Pastor Toyin Adenuga left too soon! it is extremely hard to believe his death, many are still in shock. But who are we to question God? He is a true child of God; he served Him with all his strength and substance, and he lived his life for Christ. I remembered so many beautiful things that his wife said about him during his surprise 50th birthday party, a good father and husband, an embodiment of Faith, a Preacher, and a Prayer warrior. The entire body of Christ missed him! Continue resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh death where is thy sting, I wasn't in the same center you were way back in CCIC Port Harcourt but I had the privilege of knowing you and you were indeed an inspiration. May the good Lord comfort your family and loved ones you've left behind. We know you are with Jesus and on the resurrection morning we will all meet again

Pastor Toyin Adenuga was my centre Pastor when I moved from Shiloh to Jubilee Centre in 2008 due to a change in my accommodation location. The way He received me and my family was lovely and friendly. He remained that way and was very supportive and easy to approach. I think sometimes I enjoy these privileges because he was my marriage counsellor but I realized that that is just who he was. He took my wife and I out lunch twice after a very sad event occurred in our lives in 2012. He likes to put a smile in people faces. I thank God for your life sir. Remain in the bossom of our Lord until we meet again. Adieu.

One thing I remember about Toyin (3400). The very first Maths quiz we heard in form one at Mayflower School, Ikenne Toyin scored 100% and catapulted from 1 Gold to 1 Red in second term. Very quiet and brainy, generous, amiable, and easy going. As your classmate in secondary school, we enjoy your contributions during ExMays 75/80 class set meetings. We are pained by your death but we believe that you are in a better place now. May his soul rest in perfect peace and those he left behind too. Adieu Toyin!!

Amoo Damilola

Am Damilola, every member of the family (Adenug's family) call me damisco, I came into the family when I was 15yrs old and I spent 13 good years with them,I always thank God everyday for meeting them, thank you all ( the Adenug's family). Daddy was a man like no other, if love, humility and compassion had a form in human then it was him, he was an icon worthy of emulation, a true definition of what a father, husband, adviser, pastor and a true child of God should be like. He was a hero, a strong support system, a hardworking and strong individual who was always there for his family and everyone. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard about his death, It really heartbreaking news, in 30 yrs to come I am not expecting such news about him. We knw God loves him more and He has His reason for taking such a good father that is full of love towards everyone out of this wicked world, because of his good works and salvation we all know daddy have seen his saviour face to face and daddy is in resting place at the right hand of the Lord. Your life was a blessing, your memory will remain in our hearts. We are deeply saddened by your loss, but we are grateful for the time we had together, our beloved daddy, you may have left us far too soon, but your loving presence will endure forever in our hearts and souls. Good night Sir

Jesus says Iam the resurrection and the life,he that believes in me thou dead yet shall he lives,. I learnt this verse as a child many years ago and its so real to me now as i remember my dear Pastor and friend, Toyin Adenuga. Pastor Toyin to me is one in a million. Its so hard to find a man packed with so many parts at once. I call him a gentle giant. Strong, intelligent, successful, godly, and yet very humble,. Pastor Toyin is a very generous man, sharing his house as a visitor, preaching in his branch church in Port Harcourt are memories that i can never forget. I have never heard him raised his voice on ay one though he could be very firm. He is funny and pleasant to be with. I will really miss you my dear brother and friend, times we watch football games in your house. eat delicious food cooked by your wife. Your legacy will never die because of the so many lives you have impacted in and outside the church. We love you but definitely Jesus your master and Lord loves you far much better. We will surely meet again and never part at His feet. Amen and amen

Toyin my dear friend and classmate through Mayflower School Ikenne. Gentle but firm, brilliant but sociable effico. Your departure came as rude shock. We talked about having more good moments together on the golf course now that we were now living close and share same sport passion. I pray to Almighty God for you and your gentle soul to rest in perfect peace. I pray for his wife and family to bear his departure. Adieu my friend

Daddy, i remember the first time i met you, you helped massage my sprained ankle after an accident i had on my way to your residence at Rumuomasi. I also remember the words of advice you gave me the last time i saw you. I recall how you loved to play golf every Saturday. It's a pity i never got express my gratitude to you and how much you were admired for your simplicity which was worthy of emulation. The news of your demise remains a shock to me. God bless you for everything, I am eternally grateful. It's hard to say goodbye but i know you're in a better place and heaven just gained a wonderful, kind and humble soul. You will never be forgotten. Rest on Daddy till we meet again.
